BULLETIN #18 - JULY 6, 2022

The NABET-CWA ABC Locals have tabulated the votes for the ABC-Disney ratification balloting concerning the May 14, 2022, Tentative Agreement.  The Network Negotiating Committee is reporting that the eligible NABET-CWA members employed by ABC-Disney have ratified the Master Agreement.

The previous Master Agreement was set to expire on March 31, 2021, and was extended by agreement of the bargaining parties through June 30, 2022.  The new ratified Master Agreement covers broadcast technicians, newswriters, producers, desk assistants, and publicists at various Company Network and TV station operations in New York, Chicago, Washington, D.C., Los Angeles, and San Francisco.

Most of the terms and conditions of the new agreement are effective retroactively to April 1, 2022, unless otherwise stated in any individual proposal contained in the May 14, 2022 contract offer.

The first annual wage increase of 3.25% is also retroactive to April 1, 2022.
