Unit 5: TV Master Control (including News Acquisition Center, Central Switching Control, and Network Control Center), SMAG, Network Technical Maintenance, DMC Maintenance, Traffic
The offices of Local President, Vice President and Executive Board Units 2 and 4 are up for election in 2026.
The offices of Secretary /Treasurer and Executive Board Units 1, 3 and 5 are up for election in 2027.
!/2026 There is a Special Election underway to fill an anticipated vacancy in the Secretary-Treasurer position.

EXECUTIVE BOARD REPRESENTATIVES: UNITS #2 AND #4
Petitions will be available beginning Friday, January 9, 2026. You can request a petition via email to [email protected]. Also, a petition can be picked up at the NABET-CWA Local 16 office located at 55 West 39th Street, Room 608 (between 6th and 5th Aves) weekdays between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM.
A candidate for these offices must be, and must have been, a member in good standing of NABET-CWA continuously for the two years immediately prior to the date of nomination.
PETITIONS MUST BE RETURNED TO THE UNION OFFICE BY 5:00 PM, FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 10, 2026.
The term of these offices will be until the next regular election in March 2029, except for Secretary-Treasurer. This is a special election to fill an anticipated vacancy until the end of the term in March 2027.
To be eligible for Executive Board election, you must be employed in, or if not currently employed, retired from, one of the following groups:
Unit #2: Technical Directors, Light Direction Engineers, TV Audio Engineers, Video Control Engineers
Unit #4: Network ENG (field, Editors and Maintenance), Electronic Graphics, Graphic Artists
