Mobilization To Get a fair contract with Gray Media/WNEM-TV

Local 48 in Saginaw, MI (NABET-CWA Local 54048) continues mobilization activities in order to get a fair contract with Gray Media/WNEM-TV.

The local, along with the Mid-Michigan CLC and other labor allies held an informational picket in front of the station (along with the giant rat) on Monday, February 3, 2025 - the day before Federal Mediation was held.

On Thursday, February 6th the local held an informational leafleting session in front of the Dow Events Center in Saginaw where the area chamber of commerce was holding their annual "State of City" event. Hundreds of leaflets were distributed to attendees as they entered the Dow Center. The leaflets informed attendees of the station's anti-worker proposals and encouraged them to contact the General Manager of the station to voice their displeasure.
