Position:    SPORTS ANCHOR/MSJ/PRODUCER

Compensation and Benefits include: Base Salary ($70,000 - $85,000/year) and eligibility for Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) Plan, Life Insurance Coverage, Disability Benefits, Tuition Assistance Program, and PTO.

DESCRIPTION:

KCNC-TV (CBS4/Denver) is seeking a serious sports journalist and creative storyteller for our weekend sports anchor, MSJ, and producer position.  Candidate must be highly motivated, energetic, and enthusiastic about covering a wide range of sports in Colorado.  Must be passionate about both breaking hard news stories and developing unique and compelling community sports stories.  Strong writing, producing, editing, and shooting required.  The ideal candidate gets beyond the scores, highlights, practice video, and podium sound.  We are looking for someone who connects with the community through sports reporting and anchoring.  The person will anchor sportscasts, field anchor large events, and co-anchor sports shows.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:  
Large market TV broadcasting experience.  Strong writing and production values a must.  Shooting/editing/producing skills required.  Minimum 5 years of Sports anchoring/reporting experience with extensive live fieldwork is required.
